T ARMY RACE AT LAUREL THURSDAY LAUREL, Md., October 25. An army race will be featured at Laurel Park on Thursday of this week. The conditions for the contest are as follows: For three-year-olds and over, the property of the U. S. Government, or of officers of the U. S. Army. Purse ,000, of which 00 to the second horse and 00 to the third. Weights 105 pounds. Winners of one race in 1921 to carry five pounds additional; winners of two races in 1021 to carry eight pounds additional. To be ridden by officers of the U. S. Army; distance one mile and an eighth. To be run at 1 oclock p. m. Thursday, October 27.
