NOTED ENGLISH TURFMAN RETIRING LOXDOX, England, October 25. Sir A. Bailey announced today that his entire stud, including race horses, mares and foals, with the sole exception of the stallion Son in Law, will be sold at the December sales. Sir Abe is retiring from racing and breeding owing to the multiplicity of his South African public duties, .which compel him to remain in that country. His retirement is in no way connected with Tisbys recent defeat. Xo excuse or explanation lias been forthcoming regarding the complete reversal of form shown by the daughter of Son in Liiw- Dara. Sir A. Railey states there is nothing in his .mind to suggest wrong doing by anyone connected with his stable, nor has lit? any complaint whatever to make regarding tile way the filly w;.s handled.
