4 COOL WEATHER VISITS MAPLE HEIGHTS CLKVELAXD, Ohio. October 25. A cool wind swept the course at Maple Heights this afternoon, but despite the adverse change in the weather a good-sized crowd turned out for the third days racing of the Ohio Jockey Club. J. H. Sheas Glenn accounted for the fifth race, which attracted some shifty sprinters. Ho defeated Olive James and Huron II. after being outpaced to the stretch. Rex Gaiety and Diamond Dale were returned winners for the second time during the meeting, but only by narrow margins. The remaining winners scored rather easily". For disobedience? while at the post jockejr J Maiben was set down for three days by starter William Snyder. J. Short today purchased the two-year-old Chas. Lefkovits from J. Cooper, and C. E. Hudson will train the youngster. William Mikel was an arrival last night from Kentucky with Joe Goodman and others of his stable.
