HIS SECOND CHESTER CUP SPECIAL CABLEGRAM. LONDON, England. May 10.— In a heavy rainstorm an enormous crowd saw Mrs. Whitburns Chivalrous, a five-year-old son of Amadis and Courtesy, win the Chester Cup from Fred Hardys Happy Man at Chester this afternoon. Frank Cursons Bellman was third. In spite of the rainy weather the going was good and seventeen horses faced the barrier. Chivalrous was first by a length in front of Happy Man. while the latter saved second place by a length and a half from Bellman. Happy Man was the favorite at 5 to 1. Chivalrous was at 100 to 14 and Bellman at 100 to 6. Happy Man almost broke his leg in a race last year and, considering this, his shownig today was remarkable. He appears to have recovered completely from the mishap. Todays victory was the second straight Chester Cup for Chivalrous. He beat Air Balloon and Hair Pin II. in last years race. He covered the two miles and a quarter toelay in 4 :02. Following is a summary of the race : Mrs. S.
