LAUREL RACING NEWS Oscar Bochman was an arrival from New York and at the conclusion of the Maryland racing season will leave for Cuba. Polly Ann wrenched the ankle of her off front leg slightly in her race yesterday, but the injury is not serious enough to lay her up for any length of time. T. J. Donohuo has taken over three of the C. L. Whiting racers, the .imported steeplechaser Alice Quickthorn, Play On and Gold Rock. The latter will be gelded. Dr. Henry J. McCarthy unsexed two of the yearlings in the J. H. Stotler string this morning. They are quartered at the Driving. Park opposite the Pimlico track. Vincent Powers brought Broomster and Sou-mangha down from New York. The latter ia a candidate for the Patuxent Steeplechase, which will be run here Saturday, Oct. 20. Clarence Buxton has arranged to ship his string to Tanforan tomorrow.
