TEN SIXTY, favored by her light impost and clear of interference, moved up fast in the last , eighth and outstayed SYMPATHY. The latter showed the most early speed and was going well in the strtch when forced back, then recovered to finish with a rush. EASTER BELLS ran a good race and outstayed CENTIMETER. The latter saved much ground on the turns, but appeared to run sluggishly. The others were always outrun. BAFFLING ran as if best, dwelt at the start, but raced into the lead with a rush in the first seventy yards and held UPROAR safe to the end. UPROAR ran a good race and was in closest and game pursuit all the way. CORINTH came from far back in the last three-eighths and was going fast at the end. WILMER THE WIZARD raced prominently. SAN VICENTE closed an immense gap. MAINSPRING fell in the first quarter. MARINE CORPS ran a good race and finished gamely. RANDEL closed a gap and moved up steadily throughout the last quarter. ATTA BOY II. met Interference and finished well. RAPID TRAVELER tired in the stretch. MERCHANT finished fast. DERNIER SOU was close up when he lost his rider aa a result of crowding.
