Won driving; second and third tha same. JIMSON raced DEAR MARIA into early defeat and, withstanding a challenge from SUPPLIANT at the sixteenth-post, just lasted long enough to win. SUPPLIANT finished resolutely and would have wen in another stride. ROSA YETA closed a gap with a good burst of speed. DEAR MARTA set a fast early pace, but tired in the closing strides. CLOUGHJORDAN set a fast pace from the start, withstood challenges from LADY BOSS in the first five-eighths and drew away in the final drive. DR. CHARLES WELLS worked his way up gradually and finished fast, but in close quarters next to the inside rail. LADY BOSS forced a fast pace, but was tiring at the end. MABEL K: ran well.
