ZEV AMERICAS DEFENDER Rancocas Three-Year-Old Chosen as Papyrus Opponent in the International Race. NEW YORK, N. T., Oct. 5. The Rancocas Stables champion three-year-old Zev has been chosen to meet Papyrus in the International race at Belmont Park on October 20. There was no surprise in the announcement, for after the failure of the Jockey Club committee to arrange a meeting between Zev and My Own it was predicted on all sides that the Rancocas star would be the selection There is no denying that Zev well earned the right to meet the Englishman without detracting from the merits of My Own. Tho brilliant performances of Zev as a three-year-old are common knowledge to all followers of the turf and there is none that will say that America will not bo represented in the International race when the Kentucky Derby, Belmont, "Withers and other stakes winner meets Papyrus on October 20.
