RULING ON NOMINATIONS Daingerfield Notifies Corporations that New Rule Has Not Been Approved. NEW YORK, N. Y., Oct. 9. Algernon Daingerfield, assistant secretary of the Jockey Club, has sent the following self-explanatory letter to corporations and stock companies relative to entries for produce and stake races which close for weanlings: Proposed Hule 79A and 7DB, as to Corporations or Stock Companies making entries in produce stakes and stakes for weanlings, not having been approved by the State Racing Commission, some doubt may arise as to the validity of such an entry. There is no doubt, however, as to the validity of any entry made under Rule 77A and Rule 79 of the Rules of Racing. Any corporation or stock company may lease or sell such animal to an individual or partnership on or before the date of the closing of any produce race or - races, which closes for weanlings, such lease or sale of such animal to bo duly filed in the office of the Jockey Club prior to the date of closing of such race. Rule 21 of the Rules of Racing says, "Owner includes part-owner or lessee."
