Won driving; second and third the 2 Bnme. STONE AGE began somewhat slowly, but gained steadily in the last quarter and, finishing fast, outstayed LORD ALLEN. The latter showed the most speed to the last eighth, but tired badly near the end. REDWOOD was forced to race wide on the turns, but finished fast and gamely and was best. s GREEN GOLD raced prominently from the start and only tired near the end. The latter showed fine speed from the start and raced into a good lead, but tired near the end. BOBBIE SHEA came with a rush in the stretch, but was disqualified from third place fcr fouling SAGA- MOOK. ATTA BOY II. dropped back and came again in the stretch. SAGAMOOK was bumped frequently by BOBBIE SHEA, culminating in his falling just before reaching the stretch. SEA PRINCE bumped into SAGAMOOK and threw his rider. RELIABILITY set the early pace fast and quit. DONGES came with a rush through the stretch and seemed to have the race won in the last sixteenth, but tired near the end. ANONYMOUS ran a good race from the start and finished close up. PERMARCO raced gamely and finished well. KINGSCLERE tired after setting a great pace to the stretch. UNTRIED closed a gap and finished tast.
