Won easily;- second and third driving. LEATHERWOOD was sent to the front soon after the start and, withstanding a challenge from BATSMAN, was gcing away at the end. The latter forced a fast pace and stayed gamely in the final drive. HUSKY began slowly and worked his way up between horses in the early running, hut tired and swerved over to the inside in the stretch and finished next to the inner rail. BUCADO, showing unexpected speed, set a great pace and saved ground on all the turns, but was tiring at the end and just lasted to outfinish ROYAL CHARLIE. The latter moved up rapidly in the last half-mile and, coming through on the inside when entering the homestretch, finished fast and wearing the winner down. CAMOUFLAGE forced a fast pace, but was tiring at the. end. SAGAMORE began slowly and closed a big gap with a rush. McKENNA had no mishaps. RHINEGOLD quit and so did CAPTAIN COSTIGAN. COMIXA followed the winner closely for the first five-eighths, but tired in the stretch drive. HILDUR was outrun early, but taved ground when entering the homestretch and, finishing fast, outgamed BLAZES in the final drive. The latter ran well. REPARATION :ould never get to the leaders. BIG BLAZE was saved close up and was forced very wide when the leaders swung wide at the head of the stretch, hut finished fast and gamely under a good ride and outgamed MODEST in the final drive. The latter raced in nearest pursuit of the early leader and was also forced wide, but made a fast and game finish. AGA KHAN closed a big gap and finished with a belated ifsli. GONFALON and TRANSMUTE ran well and finished next to the rail. LORD BALTIMORE II. set a fast pace to the stretch and tired badly. MINT BRIAR quit in the last half. Scratched 71983 Donaghee, 107. MY DEAR began slowly and was last to the far tern, but came through fast on the inside on the stretch turn and finished fast and resolutely. SPOT CASH ran well. LITTLE CHIEF was prominent to the stretch, but tired when called on. EXODUS had no mishaps. KING SOLOMONS SEAL ran well. SUNSINI was close up in the early running, but quit in the last lialf.
