Are Among Those Named. BALTIMORE, Md., Oct 27. The principal two-year-old event for the coming Pimlico meeting, beginning October 30, is the Pimlico Futurity, to which the sum of 0,000 is added. Starters pay ,000 each to the winner, and as nearly every good colt and filly has been named for the big stake, a field of at least a dozen or more well-matched youngsters should go to the post, and the stake should be worth over 0,000 to the winner. The Futurity is set for decision November It was first run in 1921 when the sensational Morvich, owned by Benjamin Block, defeated a band of ten. Last year the stake was run in two divisions, owing to tho large number of entries, with 0,000 added to each. The Idle Hour Stock Farms Blossom Time won the first section in 1:39 and Willis Sharpe Kilmers Sallys Alley won the second in l:39ys. Jockey A. Johnson rode all three winners, Morvich, Blossom Time and Sallys Alley, setting a record that will be hard to beat. It is unfortunate that the unbeaten gelding Sarazen is not eligible to the Futurity, but Diogenes, Happy Thoughts and Lord Baltimore II. are expected to be among those starting November 3.
