Won easily; second and third driving. COCKSURE was away slowly and was tutrun to the stretch, but came fast through the last eighth into n good lead. INTAKE set the early pace and. being passed by the winner, made a game finish and outstayed SHASTA EXPRESS. The latter ran well and finished close up. LITTLE SHASTA was a close contender all the way. WEE GIRL finished close up. SDIER LADY closed a big gap from a slow out-bide beginuing. RUNPRESERYE showed speed to the last eighth, where she tired hadly. Scratched 77551 Lnhonton, 118. MAYOR HOUSE, away extremely slowly, closed a big gap and with riders reversed wculd have won. OLLIE WOOD also came from far back and finished with a rush. SEA BEACH showed the most speed to the last turn and finished gamely. TOOMBEOLA ran veil. CHARLOTTE B. was hard ridden and, after showing in frcnt midway of the stretch, tired badly. The latter was in a tangle at the start, but quickly raced into forward contention on the outside and tired when seemingly the winner. CLOCK STOCKING made up ground and finished gamely. PICNIC came frcm far in the rear today. SACRAMENTO, HARRIUANS HEIR and BOBBY ALLEN tired after shewing early speed. MISS NANTURA. showing the most speed, took the lead quickly, and meed HELEN COOIC into defeat, then came away after turning for home and held BOSS MAN and CONVENT safe to the end. BOSS MAN, away fast, was taken back while rounding the far turn, then saved ground when turning fcr iiomc and, finishing gamely, outstayed CONVENT in the last strides.
