LEADERS AT FAIR GROUNDS J. McMillen Largest Winner During Meeting Because of Prowess of Flint Stone. The Fair Grounds meeting is nearing the end. Only a few days more and the racing scene at New Orleans will shift -back to Jefferson Park, the sport to continue there until March 17. when the Louisiana Derby will be run, and then the gates will be closed until next winter. The spoils of the Fair Grounds meeting have been fairly evenly divided, with J. McMillen leading the list of money-winning owners, due to Flint Stones string of victories. This good son of Friar Rock won five races out of seven since the first of the year and contributed ,750 of the 2,850 to the credit of his owner. Mose Goldblatt has played an important part in the Fair Grounds racing, horses from his establishment winning eleven races and 1,G40. S. N. Holman is another that has fared well, with 0,G00 to his credit The Grcentree Stable has won ,S00 and W. Daniel ,100. These, together with the Idle Hour Stock Farm Stable. A. Swenke, J. Arthur, T. II. Bernhardt and Jones Stock Farm Stable, are the most successful of the racing establishments that have showed their colors at the Fair Grounds.
