TEDDY FRANCES LEADING SIRE OF LAST YEAR French racing of last year resulted in tha production of a new premier stallion. This newcomer to equine fame was Teddy. He is a bay horse by Ajax Rondeau, by Bay Ronald, foaled in 1913 and bred by Edmond Blanc. He raced for W. K. Vanderbilt and Americans should have no trouble in deciding who he was named after. Teddys progeny won 15,735. Second to him in this respect was Isard II. with 15,107 to his credit, while the great race horse and sire Sar-danapale finished third with 99,135. 4 .
