w AUSTRALIAN RACING CROWDS An attendance of more than 90,000 at the Rand wick race track in Australia is not uncommon on a big day, according to the Sydney Referee, but tracks in other parts of Australia do not draw so well. The Ascot track at Perth, where many important fixtures are run, had only 18,104 present on the biggest day of a recent meeting, but this was a new attendance record of the course.
