FELIX M. was made too much use of in paccmaking to the stretch and tired Tight at the end. SOLID ROCK closed a gap. ALF VEZINA and SOVEREIGN II. showed speed, but tired in the stretch. COLOSSUS was in close quarters soon after the start and was shuffled back while rounding the far turn, but closed a gap with a great burst of speed when clear and, wearing WILTON FLANNA down, got up to win in the last stride. WILTON FLANNA raced well, hut tired after taking the lead. FURLOUGH closed a big gap after racing far back to the head of the stretch. SQUIRE WIGGINS was interfered with by the winner on the first turn and had to be taken up, but finished fast and close up. TAMPER began slowly and dropped out of forward contention in the early racing. LANK ran well.
