COLUMBUS TURF NOTES COLUMBUS, Ohio, Augr. 18. Starters throughout the country will be glad to learn that M. A. Apacheco has purchased Columbia Tenn at private sale from II. W. Hall and the horse will be shipped to San Juan, Porto IUco. Condition books for the Autumn meeting at Maple Heights, Cleveland, opening September 6, for thirteen days, were distributed among horsemen here today. A handicap with two thousand dollars added at one mile and a sixteenth will feature the opening days card, and a thousand dollar feature race will be given Caily.
