The latter set the early pace and dropped back on the stretch turn, but came again and was running fastest at the finish. MISS BEZETTO raced close up all the way, but could not improve her position. TELESCOPE raced into the lead but ran out on the stretch turn, which cost him the race. TROOl-ER, raced in a contending position all the way and stayed well in the final drive. FLUFFY RUFFLES closed a gap and quit. SEA-WOLF ran wclL GOLDEN FLOSS set the early pace but quit nftc-r going a half. The others were always well beaten. JUNE FLX was outrun to the stretch but closed a gap gamely. THE FENIAN tired in the final strides after racing prominently to the stretch. BLACK SHASTA set a good pace but quit after going three-quarters. EL JESMAR closed an immense gap. DUSTPROOF quit.
