"Won easily; second and third driving. BOBBY ALLEN waited on the pacemakers to turn into the stretch, from where he raced into the lead and won easing up. BOWSPRIT alternated with RUBY in paccmaking and outstayed PRESERVATOR in the final drive. PRESERVATOR came from far back and ran a good race. RUBY raced well to the stretch and tired. KEALA was waited with until turning for home, where she slipped through on the inside into the lead and easily drew away from the others in the final eighth. GOLDEN RED was in closest pursuit behind the pacemaker until on the final turn, but could not withstand KEALA when the latter challenged. FERNANDOS ran a good race and was gaining steadily in the final quarter. NO WONDER did his best. BANTAM made up ground steadily. CANUTE was far back to the far turn, then moved up after leaving the back stretch and, coming fast through the stretch, took the lead and drew away to win under restraint. ROMULUS ran a good race, but had no chance with the winner. NIZAM also ran a good race in the going and set a good pace to the stretch, but tired after making a challenge on the last turn. MAYOR HOUSE suffered from bumping on the first turn, but tired after racing close up to the stretch. HOREB showed speed, but tired in the final half mile. DOUBTFUL, outrun early, saved ground on the turns and finished with a tremendous rush. FORT CHURCHILL tired after moving up menacingly on the last turn. AL HOTFOOT ran a good race, helping to force the pace around the turn, but tired in the last quarter. BODY GUARD made up ground from a slow beginning. TINGLING had no mishaps and ran a good race. FULL O FUN showed the most speed to the last turn and tired. MADAM AENNIE acted badly at the post and tired in the final quarter.
