STAKE ME BADLY INJURED NEW ORLEANS, La., Dec. 17. Stake Me, a three-year-old gelding by Dick Finncll Palisade, owned by M. J. Cooke and trained by Art Goldblatt, while being galloped at the Fair Grounds track Wednesday morning, became unmanagable and crashed through the inner rail near the three-quarters post. He sustained injuries that will probably terminate his racing career. His exercise- boy escaped injury.
