CONKLING IS RECUPERATING NEW ORLEANS, La., Dec. 17. AVord has been received at the Fair Grounds that Herman P. Conkling, who will serve as one of the stewards at that meeting, would arrive in New Orleans December 22.. At present he is in Denver, Colo., recuperating from an attack of illness.
