POWERS SEEKS A LICENSE NHW YORK. K. Y., April 2.— Vincent Powers will, as usual, train the 4Jreentree Stable junipers this year antl also will tlo some of the ri4ling. He has filed an application for a jockey license with tho National Steeplechase and Hunt Association, and his present plans are to ride in the more important stakes in which he sends a starter to the post. This is certain to be pleasing news for the racing public, for Powers skill through the field is so well establisheil that his taking part will help to increase interest. V. Kethel and W. Marsters will also wear the "pink, black bars on sleeves, black cap." • ,
