April 2.— Steeplechasing has ever been an important part of the Ontario Jockey Clubs spring meeting at Woodbine Park and, judging by the quality of the nominations received for the Woodbine and Aintree Steeplechases, the promise for the contests through the field this year-is better than ever before. The former, with an entry list of forty-three, has practically every good jumper in the Inited States and Canada engaged, and the same is true of the Aintree Steeplechase, which drew a list of forty nominations. Following are the conditions and nomina-! tions for the two stakes : WOODBINE STEEPLECHASE* For four-year-olds and over. By subscription of $.10 each. 0 forfeit to the winner, with ,100 added, of which ,000 to second hors«, $.100 to third and 5 to fourth. Weights to be announced Tuesday. May 2.1, at twelve oclock noon.
