j ! ] j ■ I I LOUISIANA JOCKEY CLUB May Be Name of New Orleans Business Mens Racing Association in Future. NEW ORLEANS, La.. April 2. -Stockholders of the Business Mens Racing Association will, at its annual meeting, to be held at the Fair Irounds, April 21, vote to change the name of the Business Mens Racing Association to the Louisiana Jockey Club. The stockholders will also be asked to ratify the plan to redoes the directorate from its present nine members to five. An associate body of nine directors, will be retained, but the actual management or guidance of the clubs affairs will be vested in the directorate of five active ones. Messrs. Edward G. Schlicdcr, 10. R. Bradley and John P. Sullivan will be a trio of the five active directors. John Dymond, Jr., present president and general manager, will be replaced, but will not sever his connection with the association, b"ing retained in the capacity of attorney. Plans for the clubhouse and several other improvements have been submitted to E. R. Bradley and work will be started this month. E. It. Bradley is expected from Palm Beach soon. He will be acompanied by Barry Shannon. The actual loss of last meeting approximated nearly 0,000. » .
