April 2.— It was re-: ported that John Gallaher would shortly return ti Lexington to take charge of Menifee, Cherokee and others of the Gallaher Broa string at the Kentucky Association track. Allen B. Gallaher today said that he regrets exceedingly that this report is incorrect. "Johns health is not sufficiently improved to permit his training horses this year," he said. "He is still at Tucson, Ariz., but is hoping to be able to leave there about May 1, and go to Asheville, N. ., where it will not he so hot as at Tucson."
