Won driving; second and third the same. FLAPPER GIRL escaped early interference and. working her way up on the inside, finishing gamely and outfinished FREDA D. in the final drive. The latter began forwardly and quickly crossed over, ami caused a jam, then raced into a long lead, but her rider became overconfident and threw the race away. LADY CHILTON recovered quickly and finished resolutely. ROYAL KISS was knocked hack shortly after the start. BUTTERCUP was pocketed and could not get through. ENSIGN forced the pace and made a threatening challenge at the eighth post, but tired iu the final strides. JOHN S. MOSBY ran well and was on the outside all the way. LADY BOSS sprinted into a good lead and raced TRAPDALE into defeat, but tired badly in the final drive. ROMPING HOME moved up fast when entering the stretch and tired near the end. POOR SPORT began slowly and closed up some ground in the stretch. TRAPDALE quit after racing into the lead. Scratched— 87228 Demijohn, 10G; 88480 Merrimac, 114. LEXINGTON MAID lacked early seped. but raced past tired horses at the end. DANCING FOOL finished well. BLCADO ran poorly. KIRKCALDY set the early pace, but quit after racing well to the stretch. TRAJANUS showed the most speed under slight restraint and finished gamely when challenged, but tired in the final twenty yards. SPUGS was hard ridden and raced gamely, but was unable to improve his position. ASA JEWELL saved ground when entering the stretch. LOUANNA raced well to the stretch.
