J. S. WARD STABLE ARRIVES Wise Counsellor and Stablemates at Aqueduct — H. C. Fisher Horses at Belmont Park NEW YORK, X. Y., April 27.— The Everglade Stable, in charge of trainer J. S. "Ward and headed by Wise Counsellor, which arrived from Miami, Fla., at Aqueduct last week, comprise twelve horses and all are in good condition. Blue Ridge, the son of Friar Rock and Blue Grass, which was seasond by racing during the winter months at the Florida course, is a certain starter in the Preak-ness Stakes. Trainer Ward has pointed his charge for that event and his final preparation will be over the Aqueduct course. The horses in the stable are as follows. Wise Counsellor, Worthmore, Indian Trail, Blue Ridge, Wax Lady, Theo Red, Donges, Who Knows Me, and four two-year-olds. Jockey J. Kurtsinger accompanied the stable. The stable of H. C. Fisher, in charge of trainer A. B. Gordon, has arrived at Belmont Park from Louisville, Ky. Swope is the Preakness and Derby candidate in the stable, which is made up of eighteen horses. The Preakness winner, Nellie Morse, was in the shipment. Jockey J. Mellun, who was signed last winter, will do the riding for the stable. * .
