DOUBLE TIP raced un Jer restraint until in Ihe last turn of the field, jumiH-d in faultless fashion ■ and responded with a rush when called on and. drawing away into a long lead, won in a canter. HERRIARD ■ wore the tiring TASSEL down when going to the tenth jump and outstayed the latter at the end. TASSEL was much used in making the pace and tired when the winner challenged. Won handily; second and third , driving. MABEL K. began quickly and, setting a fast early pace, drew away into a long lead on the last turn, but was ridden hard near the end. ST. QUENTIN began slowly and forced to work his way up on the outside:, but closed a big gap and made a game finish. POPlYE also made up ground and outgamed POOR SPORT in the final drive. The latter ran well and saved ground on the turns ATLANTIDA was eased up when she quit. CORDELIER began slowly. OAKWOOD ran poorly. CHARLCIE moved up rapidly on the outside of the leaders while rounding the last turn and, taking the lead under hard riding in the last eighth, finished gamely after passing COZY at the eighth post. HANTS began slowly and was outpaced in the early running and came wide into the stretch, but finished with a rush and was wearing the winner down. COZY set a fast pace for the first half, but was tiring at the end. EDITH CAVELL was shuffled back soon after the start and was pulled up. FANOC lost her rider at the start.
