FICTILE was closer up than usual in the early running and, taking the lead on the last turn, outstayed THE ULSTER at the end. THE ULSTER showed much speed all the way and finished gamely. ENOS met with interference after going a half, but finished fast. CAPPY RICKS made up some ground. NEEDY and KOELLIA were always outrun.
