w — I COLUMBUS TURF NOTES COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 27. Lady I.e Band was claimed out of the second race Saturday by the Green Briar Stable for ,300. Jockey E. Ilileman was set down by the stewards for five days for rough riding on Super in the fourth race Saturday. While galloping J. W. Burkes High View Saturday morning, jockey M. Estrada was unseated, alighting on his head. He was removed to a local hospital and it is feared he suffered a fractured skull. Estrada is a native of New Orleans. Judge Joseph A. Murphy returned today from Chicago. Whije there he was advised by Colonel Sullivan, chairman of the new Louisiana Jockey Club, that the contract has been let for the erection of a 0,000 clubhouse at the Fair Grounds. If. D. Monroe, departed tonight for Winnipeg, Man., to officiate as racing secretary and presiding judge on the tracks in the Canadian Northwest.
