SHOOTS OWNER AND HORSE OMAHA Neb June 11 H C Rummage of Fort Worth Texas owner of the horses Quota and Black Tom was shot by CHllt a stable hand at ArSarBen field early this morning and is now in a local hospital The horse Black Tom which Rummage was lead ¬ ing at the time of the attack was also shot and is in a serioifs condition Hill made his escape by automobile and has not been rounded up as yet yetThf Thf shooting was the culmination of a long drawn argument between the two men which started at Orlando Flu last winter It seems that Hill claimed Rummage owed him back wages for taking care of the Rum ¬ mage horses last winter and when I he latter refused to settle Hill sought revenge The injury to Rummage is painful but not seri ¬ ous the bullet having lodged in his thigh
