McNeills Black Deer went lame in the paddock preparatory to the first race and was excused by the stewards from par-| ticipating in that event. The Midway Stable secured My Mary from I J. McCarthy via the claiming route from the first race for ,000. The ruling of June 9, under which entries by W. J. Howard were refused, is modified to permit same entries to l e accepted during the closing days of the meeting. Jockey J. Majestic was suspended for the remainder of the meeting for rough riding in the fourth race today. The Sanola Stock Farm claimed Polly Atwell from W. V. Casey out of the sixth race for ,500.
