Dick Welles* Selections At Aurora TENDER SETHJOHN FIKK— LADY CHOCO. With a return to fast track racing, the fields are beginning to fill as they did in the earlier days of the meeting. In the first number, fifteen were entered to race over the Exposition Course distance. Gen-erally speaking, they a e a bad lot, with the winner apt to pop up from most any source. We are picking TENDER SETH to be the winner, basing on his last race. In that out, which was in the mud, he ran a good third to Smooth Ice and Vasquez. If he were to improve but a little over that race, he could be the victorious one today. JOHN FINN has been showing better with each start, and in his last appearance, which was over the mile and seventy yards route, he tired in the stretch after being closest to the leader. He should do much l etter today over the shorter distance. LADY CHOCO is gradually getting back to form and, if she were to race as she did at Tampa last winter, may be the one to get the show. IDLE THOFOHTS— FLOY LILLIE— FAUN ELL LAD. In the second, another sprint race over the Exposition Course distance, the Rick Finnell filly. Idle Thoughts, should be good enough to get home the winner. Her races have all been fairly good here and, if she ever gets going in full stride, the others are going to have a hard job to catch her. The condition of the track should be of help to her too, as in her last out she tired in the mud just before the winning line was reached. FLOY LILLIE has been coming along in a manner to suggest that she is going to win a purse before long. If she races as she did in her last try, she should not have much difficulty in getting the place. PARNELL LAD can travel over any kind of a track, but usually does best on a firm strip. For that reason, we like him for the show. BON NIK LIZZIE— BITSY BEE— GALATIA. In the third event, a five and a half furlongs dash, the O. L Foster mare, RONNIE LIZZIE, seems the best play. She won her race before last and did it in good time. In her last appearance she was leading until well into the stretch, then tired and finished fourth. That effort should have put her on edge for todays test, and we think she will be good enough to win. RITSY REE graduated from the non-winners ranks in her last out and did it in a most convincing manner. She was away with the rise of the barrier and held the lead until the finish. If she races in the same manner today, she rs going to prove troublesome for BON-NIK GALATIAS one race here was a good one when she placed behind Rosamond. If she has retained that form, will be among the first three when they pass the judges stand. AM I EAKLY— KITTEN ON THE KEYS — CUBAN FLAG. A bulky field of two-year-olds makes up the fourth race, a five-eighths dash. AM I EARLY, which races for W. R. Padgett, has shown enough in previous races to give her the call here. She has one win to her credit here and a place and a show. Her last out was in the mud, and she ran a fine race to finish third to The Hovel. If she races in the same manner today, think she will be returned the winner. KITTEN-ON THE KEYS can do much better than her two races here show. While at Tampa last winter she won a couple of races and a return to that form would find her much closer up today. CURAN FLAG should go much better in the improved going. His race the time before last would be good enough to get him the show portion of the purse here. MONDAY MORNING— RED HEART-BALL GEE. The fifth is called the Georgp M. Cohan Purse and is the feature race on the card. It carries a purse of ,200 and brings the best performers of the day into action. MONDAY MORNING will not have any Sanola to race against today and with that danger out of the way, should be the one to score. He packs top weight of IIS pounds, but that is no burden for him. The longer distance of three-quarters should also be to his liking. RED HEART has a win to his credit over Sanola and is in fine trim at the present. He promises to furnish the most contention in the race. For the show, RALL GEE seems the logical choice, taking a line through his last race. In that appearance he finished second to MONDAY MORNING, but dont think he is quite good enough to do it again today. FEHBAH—D 1ST PROOF— GTS R. In the mile and a sixteenth of the sixth, we like the chances of FEHRAH. In her last two races she was started over the sprinting distance of the Exposition Course. She usually shows better at a distance and with her last out, which saw her finishing third, as a tightener, we think she will prove best. DUSTPROOF should be the runner-up basing on his lecent races. He has been coming along slowly, but is going to get down in front one of these days. CCS R. has been threatening of late and is about due to l e the first to greet the judges. A | race back to his last try would give him I the show without much effort. MADDENS-! TOWN was a hot tip his last out and he won, strange to say. If he has retained that form, he may be heard from here. IN VIGOR ATOR— SEA COURT— WHIFF. The best play on the card is spotted in the final race. This one is IN VIGOR ATOR, from the stable of F. J. Boyle. He has taken the place in all of his four starts here and, with a little l etter racing luck, should have been the winner in at least two of them. In his present good form, I he looks like a standout and, with equal racing luck, should turn back the others with ease. SEA COURT is good at the present and is bound to be in the money when the numbers are hung up. He has but to repeat his last race to get the place. WHIFF was an easy winner of her last out, but dont think she will be able to repeat that performance today. She meets faster company, and the best we can see for her is the small end of the purse. One Best Bet — INVIGORATOR, in the Seventh Race.
