He predicts a spl ndid future for that track under Bowman management and said that it is certain there will be conspicuous improvements made in the plant during the idle months. Many stables that have never before raced at Havana, have decided to ship to Cuba next winter, being at- j tracted by the increased purses that have been promised and tile generally favorable conditions that surround the sport at Ha-ana.
