SRAVAR ran a good race in the mud. raced in close pursuit of BIRDWOOD to the stretch, then r-sponded when called on and, passing the latter, won going away. BIRDWOOD showed the most early speed and saved ground on the last turn, but tired in the final sixteenth. ROI TAN. close up throughout, lost ground when turning for home, but outfinished POLAR SEA. The latter was a forward contender, but tired in the final eighth. OTURK raced fairly well all the way. Stnrt good and slow. Won easily: second and third driving. BATTLE SHOT soon took the lead and. after setting a good pace nnder restraint, withstood a challenge from HARLAN and won easing up. HARLAN raced in closest pursuit of the winner from soon after the start, but tired in the final drive. SPUGS worked his way up steadily and made a fast finish. EL CANOE began slowly, but saved ground on the turns and closed a big gap. HIDALGO WM forced extremely wide on the stretch tnrn. FROSTY BOY ran out on the turns. I RGER began slowly and was ridden wide on the turns, but came with a belated rush at the end. DAVENPORT was outrun badly for the first half but finished well. MYRA M. was shuffled back in the first quarter. NAT EVENS was moving up when he stumbled at the eighth post and fell. CONTEMPLATE was rushed ii.to the lead shortly after the start and set a fast pace under restraint, but began to run out on the far turn and came wide when entering the stretch, but came again in the final strides. CUDGEI.LCR improved his position steadily and came fast through the stretch. STIRRUP 4.VF ran well from 1 lie start and had no mishaps. LASSA began in a tangle and tired after going five-eighths. LADDIE BUCK, on the inside in the deepest going throughout, made a Rame challenge after saving ground on the last turn, but tired in the final seventy yards. KANI IP led briefly soon after the start and ran a good race. ALLEVIATOR and COGWHEEL rau poorly in the going and the latter was eased up.
