FORE I.ADY was fairly close up in the early running and, coming fast on the stretch turn, finished fast and took the lead in the last sixteenth to win going away. DEADFALL raced into a clear lead, but tired near the end. CLEM THEISEN was raced extremely wide on all the turns but closed a gap. BAGGAGE KING began tiring when reaching the stretch.
