Won easily: second and third driving. LESS K. was much the best, raced into a good lead at once and increased his advantage with every stride. MOP UP was hard ridden for the entire way and raced gamely through the final sixteenth. JOSEPH SABBATH ran a good race. FIREBUG began slowly and suffered from some interference, but came with a rush through the stretch. KELNOT came fast through the last three-sixteenths. BY GINNY tired. Won driving: second and third the same. COLLEEN O. moved np after going a half mile and, coming fast through the stretch, outstayed POOR BOY. The latter showed the most speed to the stretch and came again near the end after appearing badly beaten. WATCH IT raced close up all the way. SWORDSMAN had no mishaps. OSMAND, while showing the most speed, was under restraint for three-quarters, but was forced to a hard drive in the last eighth and appeared beaten ten yards from the finish, but came again and got up to win in the last stride. JOCK raced prominently for the entire race and was in front twenty yards from the finish, but tired slightly. FRED JR. began slowly and was raced wide most of the way, but finished well and with a stronger ride would have been closer up. KIEV was done after reaching the last eighth.
