Wild wood, the daughter of Master Robert— Crestwood Girl, and sister to Altawood, has a light bay colt foal by Sun Flag. The foal is her first. She and her offspring are owned by W. X. King. Dr. H. W. Young, of this city, reports that his brood mare Winding Through had foaled a good looking bay colt, by Altawood, at Ron Jones National Stock Farti. The newcomer is the first foal of Winding Through, and is the sixth colt to be sired by Altawood. W. H. Snearley, veteran trainer, who has been training Dingo, a six-year-old, and Dol-1 las D., a three-year-old filly, at Douglas Park all winter is going to ship Dollas D. to race at Rexington. The filly is in excellent condition and her trainer expects her to win at the first asking. Dingo, which is the property of F. P. Wilson, of this city, sus- tained an injury to one of his legs at Latonia last fall, but Snearley has patched him up and the horse apparently is as sound as ever. He will be seen in action frequently during the Churchill Downs meeting, Judge Charles W. Hay, manager of the Washington Park track, stopped over in Louisville toilay, en route from Dawson Springs, to his home in Frankfort. Judge Hay expects to leave today for Chicago to inaugurate the extensive program of improve- ments for Washington Park. « . — —
