HOLMAN ABANDONS PROJECT NEW ORLEANS, La., April 21.— Sammy N. Holman, active for several weeks in a promotion scheme to build a half-mile track in St. Bernard Parish, adjacent to this city, today abandoned the proposition. Holman, giving his reason for dropping the scheme, said : "Jt has been brought to my attention that the establishment of a track in St. Bernard Parish would perhaps be construed as a step in the wrong direction and such may ultimately hurt racing in Louisiana."
