Won easily: second and third driving. , CLK K set a fast pare from the start, came over sharply on the turns and impeded LADY CAPCLET. then came fist and easily outfinibhed INFINITY. The latter was hard ridden ami. racing green, humped LADY CAM LET repeatedly in the stretch, but finished fast. The latter had rough treatment and ran a good race. CALM was never able to improve her position. VIUADO began fast and clear, but fell back g at once. PARAPHRASE ran poorly. BEAlREGARD set a fast pace, but lost ground on the stretch turn and tired. j BOOKIE lacked early speed and came wide, but finished fast. CANTER was under restraint to the last turn, then gained resolutely and, passing HELENS BABE at the eighth i ost, came away into an easy lead at the end. HELENS BABE raced CLEAN PLAY Into defeat in the first three-quarters, but tired and was unable to withstand the winners rush. BCAPA FLOW, away slowly, improved his position steadily and finished fast, but was inclined to swerve in the stretch and finished at the heels of HELENS BABE. PETER PETER was racing gamely in the final drive. MIKE HALL raced well. CLEAN PLAY raced into the lead and quit. GAFFSMAN and SIR 11ARRY were away slowly. BUDDY" BAUER quit.
