T ENGLISH TURF NOTES 4 — « LONDON, England. T. Weston, the prominent English jockey, has been retained as first jockey for Lord Derby for the fourth successive year. M. Beary is the Aga Khans first jockey this season. H. Hedges, the Epsom trainer, has purchased the following horses, their destination being America : Father Holt, Taycock, Tony ML, Herod Antipas, Stop Flirting, Dream Ship, Vendemiaire, King Solomon, Mowbray, and Silent Guard. . They were- shipped to the United States, where they will be trained by A. Escott, who Intends to settle in the States. Sans Peche, which has finished racing, is being sent straight to the stud, and is likely to be mated with Trespasser— a horse that is getting sound-constitutioned and game stock. The veterinary surgeon who examined Koko after th horses fall in the Grand National found that Capt. F. Guests purchase was suffering from nothing worse than severe bruises.
