LEXINGTON TURF NOTES t $— - LEXINGTON, Ky., May 7. A meeting of the board of directors of iiia Thoroughbred Horse Association has been called for next Friday evening, May 11, to be held in the Seelbach Hotel, Louisville, for the purpose of electing officers for the ensuing year. It is expected that W. E. Caskey, Jr., will be elected president and that Fred A. Forsythe will be chosen secretary. W. S. Dudley has sold to W. J. Potter, of Mobile, Ala., the two-year-olds Marguerite Willet and* Kilby. Col. W. E. Applegate has sold to William Lee Nutte the young mare Twilight Maiden. Judge John T. Ireland, who is steward at the Beulah Park meeting, spent Sunday at home. He says they are having fine crowds and excellent racin.rr.
