Won driving: second and third the same. HEC showed the most speed throughout, set a good pace, raced MARY CONNORS into defeat and when shaken up lightly near the end. held ;o FOIN safe. CO FOIN raced forwardly after making a | slow beginning, came wide in the stretch and passed all but the leaders easily. JIM I.ETIIEI. was on the inside all the way ami came with a rush in the stretch. MA11Y CONNORS forced the pace for a half mile, then began to tire badly when nearing the last eighth. JOHN D. showed early speed, but tired, as did GILMOKE. ROMPING LAD acted badly at the post, causing him to be left. AMERICAN THUNDER showed the most early speed and, setting a good pace to midway of the stretch, finished well. TAKE A CHANCE wis raced wide on the turns and was lucky to be third. CLOUD 1DOLIZER finished gamely after making up some ground. SILENT LILLIAN and PATTY VICTORIA showed early speed before tiring. CLIMAX began slowly. NOSE DIVE passed FLORA LE BRETON, raced into a safe lead, but began tiring fast and had to be hard ridden to outfinish GRIEGO. GRIEGO came with a rush and. passing the others when an eighth out, challenged NOSE DIVE and barely failed to win. BIRD BEHAVE raced well and also came with a rush from near the end. FLORA LE BRETON set the early pace, then raced close up for seven-eighths before tiring. PRIVATE SETU, on the outside most of the way. suddenly gave way in the stretch and dropped back.
