Congressman Stanley H. Kunz and Alderman John J. Coughlin, have reserved stall space for the coming June meeting at Arlington Park. The pretentious stable of Congressman Kunz, known under the non de plume of the t Olen View Farm Stable, arrived at Arling- j ton Park yesterday from winter quarters and was comprised of ten two-year-olds and ten r older horses. These horses appeared to have i wintered well and will no doubt be conspicuous during the coming meeting. f Alderman Coughlin has reserved thirty s stalls and, while he has a number of high class performers, the most popular horse in ] his string is Wacker Drive, which won the £ Breeders Futurity at Lexington last fall and, but for a slight ailment this spring, would have been a starter in the Kentucky Derby, t However, he will be in first class racing con- dition for the Arlington Park meeting and c is an almost certain starter for the 5,000 American Derby. Saturday, June 9. t Col. E. R. Bradley, master of the Idle Hour £ Farm at Lexington, has divided his stable into an eastern and western division. The western division, in charge of William Hur- f ley, will be shpiped to Arlington Park within j ten days. It will consist mostly of two-year-olds, all home-breds. A number of these ] horses are entered in the American National Juvenile and American National Futurity ] Stakes. s Trainer. J. S. Ward, of the Everglade Sta- , b!e, confirmed his request for reservations for the spring meeting and this means the presence of Dodgson, which has shown con- ] siderable merit this spring and is also nomin- j ated for the Kentucky and American Derbys. j Another large stable that will arrive at j Arlington Park shortly is that of the Threo Ds Stock Farm, in charge of trainer C. E. , "Boots" Durnell. This stable is represented in the American Derby by Irish Pal. There . are also several two-year-olds of high order, . some of them being by Man o War. , Arlington Parks mile and an eighth track , will be in almost constant use from now - until opening day, June 4, as horses are ar- j riving daily. One hundred and twenty-six thoroughbreds from the Mira Monte, Browns ■ Shasta Stock Farm, the R. C the A. A. Baroni and the R. E. Allen stables arrived j the latter part of last week.
