PREDICTS BANNER MEETING AURORA, 111., May 16.— John Carey, racing secretary of the Ak-Sar-Ben Exposition Company of Omaha, Neb., left last night for Omaha. His visit here, in the interest of the Omaha meeting, was highly successful, as he will get close to 250 horses from Exposition Park for the racing at Ak-Sar-Ben Field. The 1927 meeting at Omaha was one of the best meetings ever held there, and Mr. Carey predicts that the coming one will be even more successful, owing to the fact that there will be horses of a higher class than those of last year available for the racing. While at Aurora Mr. Carey received an offer to act as racing secretary at one of the largest racing plants in the country. He is not ready to divulge the place, but a long meeting will be held there next year, in June and July, according to Mr. Careys statements. ♦ ■
