PAIR GROUNDS LANDING FIELD NEW ORLEANS, La., May 16.— On behalf of the Louisiana Jockey Club, Col. John P. • Sullivan, chairman of the executive committee, and James M. Murphy, manager of the Fair Grounds, the tract of land owned by the club in St. Bernard Parish has been tendered to the Association of Commerce to be used as a flying field. The tender stipulates that the land may be used as long as it remains the property of the club. The tract is eighteen minutes from the central part of the city and is intended as an aid to the air mail service.
