— — i _ J CHURCHirrDOWNS NOTEsI 3 _ — Clyde Van Dusen will take the stable he campaigned here to Latonia. while the division that is racing at Chicago will remain there for the Arlington Park meeting. Lloyd Gentry has taken over a dozen horses owned by J. B. Respess to race along with his own at Fairmount Park. Jockey K. Horvath will do the riding. A. V. Thomas shipped his small stable of useful horses to Fairmount Park Thursday night. C. W. Hay. general manager of Washington Park and a member of the Illinois license committee, will leave Saturday night for Chicago to attend a meeting Sunday of that committee. Jockey J. R. Kelly, who suffered an injury to a finger of his left hand was unable to .accept mounts today. The first of the large shipments of horses from here to Latonia is scheduled to leave next Friday. Additional departures will follow during the following few days, and complete transfer of the many hundred of horses is expected before the opening of the Latonia meeting Saturday, June 2, It is understood here that Harry Payne Whitney will have a starter for the coming renewal of the 0,000 added Kentucky Oaks meeting on Saturday, June 2, the closing day of the meeting.
