UNDERTOW began fast fiom the outside and came across sharply into the lead in the first quarter, then showed the most speed and held sway tee sively. FAR AWAY was in close quarters in the early running, but began gaining fast through the last quarter and closed a gap to outfinish the others, in ALIA" forced the pace and finished well. WINNIE STUART was away slowly and closed a gap. KEN-TEX HOP It showed early speed, but quit. ran out on the turns. CRUELTY began gaining fast in the stretch. CAR. PAWTON was crowded back on the far turn.
