HEATHER WINE moved up fast in the first half mile, kept a contending position to the stretch, then came far on the outside and just got up to head McKIM in the final strides. McKIM was well back of the leaders until after rounding the far turn, then made a strong rush into the lead in the stretch, but tired. TONIMOI gained gradually and made up much ground. FOIIKTOLD was far out of it for the first three-quarters, then closed an immense gap. BLAH ran in closest pursuit of the early leader to near the last eighth, took a brief lead, then tired badly. THISTLE GLAD set the pace for the first three-quarters and quit.
